| International Festival of Theatre Production | The Festival ?An Invitation to Production? is the only festival dedicated to production in Europe. The idea is very simple and captivating. Producers taking part to the festival will have the same text (length of time: 15 minutes). Every producer can freely perform the play. During the latest editions, carried out in Italy, there have been a lot of different performances. From this year international producers can take part to the Festival, too. The management has decided to make a selection for foreign producers in H., Germany (for German people) and in Trento, Genova, Forl?, Vasto, Cagliari, Naples and Trieste, Italy for producers coming from different foreign countries. The winners of these selections are admitted to the final phases of the Festival, that will take place in Trento at the end of November 2006. Producers coming from foreign countries and the Italian ones will face each other making a fine theatre event and creating an important point of contact between different artistic cultures. Good luck to every producer, wishing to see you in Trento for the Final phase!
HOW TO TAKE PART Producers coming from different foreign countries, except Germany, can take part to one of the different selections agreed with the central organization in Trento. For more information, click here. |

| German Academy of Fencing | The championship is held under the auspices of the German Academy of Fencing (ADFD) and is organised by the fencing division of the Olympic Sports Club Berlin (OSC Berlin). The patron of this event is the governing mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit. Due to the increasing interest in stage fencing (also called scenic fencing or theatre fencing) in the inner country and abroad the International German Championship was inaugurated. It is modelled on the French Championship in stage fencing (escrime artistique). In this championship different fencing scenes are presented as part of short theatre pieces or theatre scenes in front of a jury which evaluates the presented scenes.
Domestic and foreign organisations (e.g. society, club, group) which engage in Stage Fencing can take part in the Championship in the three different epochs: The championship will be held in the theatre hall of the FEZ-Berlin. The FEZ is a leisure centre for everybody (especially for children and families) with various buildings, halls, stages and high tech equipment and provides ideal conditions for this event. You'll find more information (e.g. program, rules, registration) under: www.szenisches-fechten.de. The ADFC and the OSC Berlin are happy to welcome participants and members of the audience from Germany and abroad at the championship.
