From time to time, we, or some of our members appears in the news media...

The Township Times (Saginaw, Michigan) A photo and text from the local paper from our lecture/demo at White Pines Middle School in Saginaw, Michigan in May 2006.
Allen Park Buisness and Professional Women's Club We created and performed a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre in October 2003. It was our first attempt at such a performance, and it went over very well. The letter is a short e-mail from one of the officers of the organization.
Eminem DVD & HBO Special It seems that two our members (Diana and Misha) are going to be a permenant part of music history. On Sunday, September 8, they danced on stage with Eminem and Chris Rock. If you get a copy, watch the credits and look for the people being billed as the "Trailer Park Girls". That would be them.
Michigan Youth Theater A picture of Maestro Chris Barbeau training the latest batch of budding young actors/actresses.
Origins Con 2001 A short e-mail of thanks from someone who attended our performance there.
Toledo Blade March 1, 2001 This is a theatrical review for a production of "Romeo & Juliet" that one of our members (Keith Kolasinski) both acted in and provided fight choreography for.
This official award is in the category of "Best Newcomers/Rookies of the Year", and it goes to David Dragun and Aaron Sherry for their work as "Rogues and Rapiers". (They have also won an unofficial award as the "Best Byte and Bannister Substitute of the Year" for the same work.)

Western Michigan Herald March 31st, 1999
(NOTE: online archives now only go back to 2001)
An brief but interesting article has an article featuring Brett as the "WMU alumnus who lives for danger!" Brett indicates, as is not unusual, that he was oft misquoted and the spirit of what he was trying to convey to the reporter was not established. As Brett says, "I do not live for danger!" The article has a number of references to the Ring.
Letter of thanks from Farmington High School Of course, since we were expecting 60-90 English students and we got 650+ students, most of whom had never seen Hamlet before, we had to adjust our lecture/demo on the fly. Kudos to all the ring members who were ready to adlib the new program.
Canton Observer December 21, 1997 It is hard to believe that this woman got as much wrong as she did. I mean, she sat there and took notes. She got our name wrong, for heaven's sake! The only numbers she got right were our telephone number and the number of members in the group. Every other number/date, including my age were wrong. Sigh. I swear that we just have to write the stuff for them! How do these people hold a job?
Onstead Exponent May 20, 1997 More extensive article and better photos for the "Haunted Hamlet" show
Onstead Daily Telegram April 20, 1997 A single photo from our "Haunted Hamlet" show
Ann Arbor News February 22, 1997 Chris Potter gives us a hell of a plug. Late night interview paid off!
Fighting Cook - February 1997 A "thank you" note from the Northville High School Choir Director for a show we did for their madrigal dinner.
Ann Arbor News February 3, 1997 Just what is it with me and the press? Obviously the reviewer wasn't familiar with just what a "Fight Captain" does and thought that Louie assembled the fight scene.
Michigan Daily November 12, 1996 We worked all the violence in this production of "King Lear", but the swordfight received a pleasent accolade. I see how the industry collects hype -- our fights were "riviting!"
West Bloomfield Eccentric August 28, 1996 A workshop for a Middle school turned out to be vastly different from what I expected! Instead of the 4 actors actually fighting in the Scottish play, I had a class of 26. Sigh... Communication is so difficult!
Ann Arbor News September 30, 1996 The Ring finnally gets a write up in the local rag. Or is it Scott that gets a write up? Or is it me? What the hell is this article about? Did the reporter take notes? Sigh...
